One of the books I'm currently reading sometimes has occasion to tell fairy stories. I realized that I like that kind of story, even though they're not as common any more, except for the classics. So, I wanted to write a story that would give me an excuse to tell short fairy stories. This led me to think about the pixie I'm having fun writing about. And, it's good practice to write something different.
