For the rest of the vacation, we became tourists in Ludington. We climbed the lighthouse, swam in the lake, floated down the river in the state park, made dribble sandcastles, ate ice cream from House of Flavors, got sunburned, picked blueberries, ate fried fish, and generally enjoyed ourselves. We also played Apples to Apples, Ticket to Ride, and Rock Band.
There was also a lot of eating and drinking of good food with good friends. I had a wonderful time showing off all the fun things to do. We got lots of compliments on our dribble sandcastles and the lake was really warm, though it never feels like it at first.
On the drive home, we stopped at the Arbor Brewery in Ann Arbor, MI. They had a "garlic plate" appetizer that I could not pass up. It was just as delicious as it sounds.
