The rhubarb in the garden was ready last weekend. We were going out to my father-in-law's house for a visit, so I asked if it was okay to bring along the rhubarb and invade the kitchen there. They agreed, so I got to try out a new recipe for rhubarb cobbler.
The original recipe I tried was tasty, but had a very liquid rhubarb base and the topping was more like a crisp than what I think of as cobbler topping. This recipe is much more what I think of when I think of cobbler, a more solid filling and a more muffin-like topping. It's a winner!
