Grammy Fisher's Egg Nog
I thought I didn't like egg nog until I tried this recipe. It's named for Tim Doebler's grandmother since he introduced me to the recipe.
Makes 2 quarts (1/2 gallon).
Ingredients
- 1 dozen eggs
- 2 cans condensed milk
- 1 quart half-n-half
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp tumeric
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/2 cup white rum
- 1/2 cup whiskey
Directions
- Ignore the nutritional content.
- Beat all igredients except the alcohol in a blender (in batches, if it won't all fit).
- Mix in alcohol.
