Grammy Fisher's Egg Nog

I thought I didn't like egg nog until I tried this recipe. It's named for Tim Doebler's grandmother since he introduced me to the recipe.

Makes 2 quarts (1/2 gallon).

Ingredients

  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 2 cans condensed milk
  • 1 quart half-n-half
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup white rum
  • 1/2 cup whiskey

Directions

  1. Ignore the nutritional content.
  2. Beat all igredients except the alcohol in a blender (in batches, if it won't all fit).
  3. Mix in alcohol.
