Dutch Baby

This makes a very large pancacke/muffin that will easily feed 2 people.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425°F.
  2. Drop eggs into a blender. Slowly add milk and vanilla. Add flour, salt, and sugar. Blend for a minute.
  3. Put butter in a dutch oven or other heavy high-sided pan and place in oven until the butter starts to sizzle.
  4. Pour mixture into pan. Put pan into oven and bake 10-25 minutes until puffed high and cooked through.
