Apple-Raisin Stuffing

From Betty Crocker.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped celery (with leaves)
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 9 cups soft bread cubes
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground sage
  • 1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh thyme or 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3 cups finely chopped apples
  • 3/4 cup raisins

Directions

  1. Heat butter in Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook celery and onion in butter about 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
